usually questions asked are done so from personal experience. that could be the assumption but then again some questions are just random thoughts... most people do realize what you are calling out but because is the net, people feel more free... life is bitter but you can turn it around and simply not take what is said so personally.

You should stop doing that :)
I've observed a similar phenomenon in many other areas, not just on this board, or just related to question and answer. For instance, if you make a hypothetical point in a debate most people will assume that is your position, in fact they will do so even knowing that the debate is hypothetical. I think that same principle is at work here. I don’t think I have ever considered the reason, but I will so now shortly
I think it is a form of cognitive bias, obviously, but what does that really mean. I don’t think that people think that this assumption occurs because it is what they expect to see, or have seen a lot. I think it is being cause by them employing a logical fallacy. Some people will be intelligent enough, conscious enough, or educated enough to catch themselves, or not even make the mistake in the first place. But, in most cases people attribute properties to what they see them associated with, for instance stereotypes. This make sense, as it is an expedient, and probably very common, people could learn at a young age how to tell what is coming form where. But some people don’t become more discerning later in life in regards to the way they think.
Those people are now making the mistake of attributing a question to the asker, probably without even consciously thinking about it, this is a built in pattern of analysis for them.

Bah that bothers me too, sometimes i just wonder about something random like... "how many times a day does the average person pee?" or something simple like that and people ALWAYS have to say something lame like "Why? you pee a lot huh?! i think you have a bladder infection!" (okay, so this exact thing never happened but you get what i mean.) Come on people, just answer the question without judgement or assumption! Lord.

I wonder the same thing, it happens to me all the time that the answerers think I´m talking about myself....I hate people assuming things, it also happens to me in real life....

Wait, what? There's no point of asking a rhetorical question on a message board, haha.
