Obviously Bertuzzi is a humdinger. Luongo for what??? I don't think Chara has that great with Boston to spite huge minutes. Kyle Calder...blah. Samsonov...blah.
How about guys that were not necessarily acquisitions but just disappointments? Rick Nash comes to mind-50 points, I expected 50 goals.

Bertuzzi - what a total joke that trade was.
Samsonov - waste of ice time. Just goes for a skate.
Chara - not the hero the Bruins were looking for.
It was actually late last season but Theodore was a disappointment too.
Good ones? Kariya, Pronger, Savard.

That Luongo for Bertuzzi and Auld deal was a real masterpiece!!
Us Panther fans were and still are thinking ..... did the mascot Stanley C. Panther or the guy who drives the Zamboni make this deal? Cos no one with half a brain could possibly EVER have come up with this nightmare deal.

Forsberg to Nashville. He's a has been and can't regain his momentum. Preds lost good future picks in this deal.
Samsanov for the Habs. Waste of 3.5 million.
Theodore for the Avs - total waste of 5.5 million
Brad Richards had a dissappointing season and Martin Gerber as well.

Joffery Lupul has been nothing but trouble for the Oilers. He signed for a big paycheck for such unproven skill. and the Oilers lost out big time. He was supposed to score 30 goals this year and he won't get 20. He just isn't a hard working enough player to fit in with the Oilers.

Mark Bell to San Jose...He was supposed to be the winger on Joe and Cheechoo's line. I guess he has a hard time fitting into the Ron Wilson's system. He has been doing okay lately, but not to everyones expectations.

Martin Gerber. He killed my fantasy team, the bum!
I am disappointed with Eric Staal, too. He's been ok, but I expected 100 points from him. Same for Rick Nash.

This wasn't off season but the Aebischer/Theodore trade has got to be one of the the biggest bonehead moves. Theodore is a joke at 5.5 mil. Also letting Selanne go after he healed is up there also.

Surprised nobody has yet mentioned Cloutier, although maybe "disappointing" is not the right word, maybe every single person alive KNEW how bad he would be EXCEPT Marc Crawford.
In any event, he is the major and maybe only reason the Kings are not in the playoff picture.

The Mariners. some "experts" have been looking forward to them to win the AL West. The Mariners are a experienced team with large pitching...i'm relatively shocked at how underwhelming their season has been. additionally, the Tigers. working away with the AL imperative? hardly ever...

Nash is a huge underacheiver. Another guy I think of is Forsberg, he has been injured all year and hasnt had much impact on either team he has been on.
