I'm talking about the part in Hollow Bastion when you have to beat him, not the Colosseum.
After a substantial break from playing the game [due to severe frustration] I decided to pull it out and give it another whack. I cannot beat Demyx for the life of me. I know that you have to beat his little spawns and all that, but it seems impossible to avoid his water attacks. Does anyone have any tricks or tips to share?

make sure you are about level 28-30. equip hi-potions on everyone. you will only need magic for healing for cure or limits, but limts arent really necessary. defeat the first water clones using the reaction commands. after that, hack and slsh, preferably with aerial combos because by now you should a lot of aerial combo boosters as abilities. when he starts casting a lot of water, run away and dodge. you will get hit once or twice regardless. when he summons more water clones, defeat them quickly or you will lose the battle. if you want to, you can use valor or master form near the end. i recommend not using either if you can help it, but keep auto valor on in case you are about to die. just make sure you heal and you should win.

Great question ive been playin it this week :). Well for starters you need to use the reaction commands to destroy the water they really help. When you are done use a limit like knock smash from goofy or a valor form they help anything to help him stop from casting water.
