So there we were right, in the pub, obviously, the parade going on outside, watching Ireland give Italy a thrashing in the Six Nations (Rugby) (Oval Ball) (Google it).
Anyway, up until the VERY last minute of the French match, it lokoed like Ireland was about to win Her first Six Nations (well back then it was five) title since 1985... And then, the dream was over. I nearly cried!!! We were all getting ready to buy champagne and cigars and go MENTAL, but then, after giving Italy such a beating, France managed to win on points difference.
I was utterly HEARTBROKEN and it ruined my Paddy's day.
Was anyone else on the same boat?

I think it was very unsportsmanlike of the Italians to come back and win that match on that day. It's like in America if the visiting football team wins the high school homecoming game.

i got flu and stayed in bed mothers day and all still in bits the weather lousey and me miserable

well i didnt even get to celabrate it.I was grounded and didnt even get to see the parade. i stayed in my room all day long...=(
