How do religion and gangs differ?

I can only think of how they are the same.

The differences is a lot, but I only left you with 10.

Religion:
1) tries to do the right thing
2) don't want to hurt people
3) freedom to choose
4) God comes first
5) commited to God
6) don't have to prove anything to anybody, but God
7) no dues or fees to belong (tithes, but not required to belong).
8) It's Spiritual, not materialistic
9) anybody can join
10) the more involved, the more freedom


Gangs:
1) don't try to do the right thing
2) Don't care if they hurt people
3) lost of freedom to choose
4) gang comes first
5) commited to the gang
6) have to prove yourself to be worthy of being a part of the gang
7) dues and fees (if the gang recommends it)
8) It's materialistic, not Spiritual
9) not anybody can join a gang (cops)
10) more one is involved, the less freedom
