What was the best thing you ever bought from a thrift/consignment store, yard sale, etc. ?

I need to make some serious cash for a trip this summer and i'm thinking of just selling things online. My plan is to get things really cheap thrift/consignment stores, yard sales, etc. and then auction them online. Is it rare to find good items in these places?

i bought a textbook for 59 cents and sold it for 32 bucks. buy textbooks five years or newer and sell them on amazon.

I bought furniture .I don't think it's rare,you'd be surprised at the cool things you can find and get for cheap
