I assume you are talking about electromagnetic radiation of some type?
I don't think that will hurt your baby making machinery. However, cell phones on the other hand...might not be a good idea to talk with the cell phone antenna right next to your tummy.
ps: make sure to not block the vent ports. Your laptop may not enjoy that!

Well I don't know, but the next time you are at BestBuy and want to buy a laptop make sure this is the very first question you ask ! You might even consider sending Hewlet Packard or Microsoft an email I would be very interested in what their answer would be.
You know this is a question even a Microsoft Certified Professional would not be able to answer, I am one and I can tell you out of the thousands of questions that I had to answer to become certified, that question never came up on any of my exams! I wonder why?

Shouldn't be a problem as long as you're not blocking the laptop's air intake completely (if its located on the bottom as it is in many machines).

Laptops ARE NOT an effective contraceptive. It is advised to remove during intercourse, and invest in the latex condom.
