Dallas Mavericks.
No doubt the Mavericks are the best NBA team this season. They have strung together numerous winning streaks this year after a poor 0-4 start. With a year under his belt, Avery is a better coach. Dirk is having an MVP like performance. The pieces are in place with Josh Howard stepping up his game, as has Terry and Stackhouse. They have the best conference record, division record, and an absurdly unbeatable home record. And of course they have the best record in the league. They will steamroll through the Spurs and Suns in the Western Conference playoffs and straight up take the East opponent to school regardless of who it is.

What a reDIRKulous (great) question!! Of course the Dallas Mavericks!! They're the deepest team and along with the Phoenix Suns pose the most difficult match up problems. Dirk plays the PF spot beautifully inside and out making it difficult for any team to gameplan against the Mavs. There are only a few defenders (Bowen, Marion, etc) that can play him with even limited success one-on-one and all teams rely on collapsing the defense when he has the ball in his hand which frees up Howard, Terry, Stack and the others. On the wing, Howard poses his own match up problems because of his athleticism, range and ability to finish in the paint. Stackhouse is arguably the best 6th man in the NBA and when either Diop or Damp play well Dallas is nearly unbeatable. Their streaks prove my point! Go Mavs!!

No brainer, the Mavericks. The team has the best combination of offense and defense in the league. They can also play any style, fast up beat tempo, or slow half court bball.

Definatly Dallas. I don't think they will win the championship, but as of right now they are easily the best team. Theres just too much talent on that roster.

the mavericks by far. they hve got dirk down low and up high shooting jup shots and and getting rebounds. they also have got range from josh howard and jason terry who can hit big shots when they need them.
