Pro forma financial statements are what you'd find in budgets. Basically, a pro forma financial statement is what has been predicted for the coming year (or whatever time period) NOT what has already happened.

Pro-forma usually means "as a matter of form." A pro forma invoice means provided in advance of shipment and merely showing the description and quantity of goods shipped without terms of payment. If you then pay, you are paying pro forma.

im not exactly sure. but im almost positive its latin. im in latin one and i think that pro means for but im not exactly sure what forma means.
