ok i live in minne sota... and i do want a job but i am so tired of everybody saying do babysitting, or "don't work now you have your whole life to work", ihave my reasons to work! and i just want names of places that hire 14 year olds!-pls!

Virtually no one will hire anyone under age 16. There are laws against doing so and insurance requirements. But there must be something you can do for money,, can you push a lawn mower? The people that mow my yard drive a $35,000. pickup to work.

Jo Blo knows nothing. Half of my friends work and none of them are out of middle school! I work at A&W, and my friend works at Mcdonalds. One of my friends works at tim hortons and another works at home hardware. The labour shortage has allowed many teens to work, at any stores. I would reccomend looking for a part time job at a store in the mall or something...

I had your same problem, and really its quite hard to find a job outside of the family business at your age. Talk to your state's departmemt of labor and see about getting yourself a work permit. I think that once you get one of those you can work at any age.
