If its the original, the quickest way to find out is simply take the VIN (vehicle identification number) to your dealer and ask for the buildsheet printout. The transmission information will be there, along with a lot more. Or for a more basic answer, just ask what transmission came with the van, and supply the VIN. In the event that the transmission is not the original, or you have some doubt (ie the van is used and probably had the trans replaced before) then you will need to find the dataplate or stamping on the transmission case. Good luck.
