You can stare through the glass floor and into the 4,000-foot chasm below for a variety of tour packages ranging from $49.95 to $199.00. The Skywalk is scheduled to open to the public March 28.

Do you think it would take uncommon courage, bravery, thrill seeking or stupidity?

I'd definitely give the Skywalk a try. Not only would it be an amazing experience, it would also support the tribe that built it.

The purpose of living is to experience things.

It'd totally be a thrill! Think about it- a glass floor, and when you look down- woah! I'm a bit scared of heights, but it'd be such an amazing experience! If you really want to, give it a try! There's nothing to lose on going on to the Skywalk (except maybe some money and get a little fright!). I'd definantly wanna go- too bad they built the Skywalk just when I left Grand Canyon :(

Heights don't bother me so I wouldn't have a problem with it. What bothers me is that this is a thrill that only well-to-do people will be able to do. The last time I went to Yosemite Nat'l park it was $25. A lot of families can't afford that so they miss out. I don't think people should be charged to enjoy nature's beauty.

I'm scared to death of heights. But it would be worth it because these people need the money. So I think I could
find the courage. But I do love a good thrill so yeah I would love to give it a try.

I think it would be a blast. Sure, just think of it you can stop and look down to see everything. you can take pictures and all that.

I Think it would take a little while to get used to it but after that you sure could have a ball.

They could have saved a lot of money by just streatching a couple of ropes across the canyon. One to walk on and one to hold on with your hands. Admission two bucks.

Been there, done that.

I had a chance to walk on the Skywalk during the "First Walk" media event. It's pretty awesome if you ask me.

I would rather do that , than trust those tour helicopters that are always falling from the sky over the Grand Canyon .

It looks pretty cool. I would give it a try though I might wait till they get all the construction finished with the visitor center. I see videos and pics at http://www.grandcanyonskywalk.info .

i think the skywalk is just a see through thing. it is completely safe and even a stupid ol' baby can jump on it without getting scared.

More the excitement value here. The prices are not inviting though. I am sure they would much more business if they lowered the price a bit.
