my 9 mo old dd was sleeping through the night from 4 mos old until she was 7 mos old. At first she was only waking once at 2 am now its at 1 and again at 4 and then waking up finally at 6 for the day....With time going back it has been even more crazy. She goes to bed at 8:30 pm with out a problem ..she has a good nightime routine and she has a good napping routine with 2 30 min naps/day. When we tried to get rid of a daily nap so she would be more tired she was more grouch and woke up even more! Also she eats with each nighttime waking.

My guess is she isn't sleeping enough during the day, I Have a 13 month old that takes 2 2hour long naps a day and sleeps threw the night, From 8:00 pm to about 7:30 am.he will wake up once in awhile for about 10 minutes and we let him cry back to sleep, Don't jump up to the first cry you hear sometimes they will just let out a scream while they are sleeping for no real reason.
Teething can have some restless nights, Infants pain reliever will work good, give it to her before bedtime. We had the same problems with him and the best thing that we did was let him cry for awhile at night.

I have a 2 year old and she's still going threw stages like that there's really nothing you can do.Maybe try giving her a snack before bed time and seeing if in the morning if you don't get up right away to get out of her bed if she'll go back to sleep. But your best bet (from my experiences) is that she will fall back into routine.

Teething. As soon as they finally break through, the baby will sleep again. It's a tough time because you just got so used to sleeping all night again. When these teeth are done, you have more to look forward to at 1 year or so.

Check her gums for teeth coming through, same thing happened when our little one was that age, If it's definitely teething put teething gel on her gums before bed and give panadol.

My guess is your child may be teething. The hunger may come from the need to move the gums.
