a. The molcules have more collisions with the walls per second, because there is less surface area. The pressure goes up.

b. More molecules hit the same surface area per second, so the pressure goes up.

c. The molecules gain kinetic energy, so hit the walls harder and more often, which incresases the internal pressure. The container will expand until the internal pressure equals the external pressure.
