The company who I owe this to is not in service anymore. The apartment I lived in is not around either due to a fire. Because of the eviction on my rental history I can't get a place to live now. How am I supposed to repay this debt to have it removed from my rental history when the company I owe doesn't exist anymore? Help!!

Write to transunion/equifax/experian and dispute the validity of the debt. Since the company is out of business they wont be able to verfiy it and will, by law, have to take it off your credit report.

Check if you can if it was turned into a collection agency. In the U.S. you can go to https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp
and see who is turning you in for unpaid credit then use the information to pay. (ask them to correct your credit standing)

Such is life.
You could find out who your former landlord was and try to contact them.
