U'r a lucky girl if u haven't started yet, but getting u'r period is not a bad thing. Periods help cleanse your body and one day-when you are married help bring in new life. When someone first gets their period, they feel flushed-hot and cold. Most girls don't feel any cramping or discomfort, but some do and they also sometimes get headaches. If you are worried about the pain and don't want to handle it, ask your mom to help you make a period package-a small bag you can put in your bookbag that has a couple of small pads and a couple of asprins. You'll hate getting your periods especially when you are going to do exciting places and feel helpless, but don't worry everyone goes through it, it's one way women learn to be tough. With it comes great responsibility and caution, don;t let any man tell you that you are the weaker sex because of it, we give birth to men-haha. Most girls also make their first visit to the Gynecologist after their first period. Check out this site.

It's definitely not fun, but it's not the end of the world either. You'll probably have some cramping. Sometimes it hurts really bad, but eventually you get used to taking an ibuprofen at least once a month. The first time I started I felt pretty normal, but now I can always tell when I going to start. I usually get pretty cranky. The first one is the most uncomfortable. Since you're 15 you should be starting soon.

Before I got my first period, I felt normal. I didn't even knew I had it until I went in the bathroom and saw blood in my panties.

Umm, probably a little drowsy- possible cramping- irritability- though I tend to be too tired to be in a bad mood when my time comes. Don't worry, yours will soon, too. However, if it doesn't- talk to your doctor and make sure you are okay and not too late.
