it started a few weeks ago when i told my friend jess that i like my friend daniel as a joke.she didn't know that it was a joke so she told him-_-so he told my friend claire, who is her best friend . over the next few days they kept calling me and trying to get an answer from me.finally daniel got me to say i did by asking me so many times that i just said that so he'd let me be
but he started saying haha i don't like you i like claire.so then he told everybody and made a big deal of it.why do you think he did this to me?

This happened to me once. It turned out that he liked me and didn't want to admit it. He also already had a gf. His gf was super-popular and if she knew that he liked me she would get mad, dump him and make him an outcast at the school. Don't make a big deal about. If you do everyone will bug u more. Trust me it will die down soon enough. Don't make a big deal about it.
