Some antiperspirants (not simple deodorants) have cancer-causing agents in them, but shouldn't be a problem. I mean, with a lot of these studies, they spend half their days coating lab rats in the stuff. No normal person puts antiperspirant or deodorant on 100 times a day. Don't worry about it.

The IDEA is that what happens (for women) when they shave their armpits, maybe they nic them and then put on deoderant which COULD lead to the chemical in the deoderant to get in the body and POSSIBLY cause breast cancer.

The way I heard it (from a professor) is that there has not been much research, so I wouldn't worry too much.

There are many studies that show the aluminum substance in most deoderants can cause cancer. I don't like to take the chance. I use Crystal roll on and it works great. Plus it doesn't leave a residue on my shirts.
