who defends Andy Johnson on Yahoo Answers. Everybody keeps on banging on about his diving, he goes down because he is tackled by another player but he gets up again and carries on playing. His complaints (if any) are short lived. He doesn't fake injury. He isn't a dirty player. Is it sour grapes that he joined Everton or what?

Andy is so fast that the slighest knock would send him off balance. The prem's defenders hate a striker like him as it is almost impossible to play against him without conceding a foul.
And yes he has the mentallity not to dwell on a dodgy challenge but get on with the job in hand..playing good, clean football.
it's a shame some of the "REAL" divers dont take notes.
I also think other teams are jealous that the Toffee's got him, especially the "big four" as he his one of the best around & he's homegrown too.

I never noticed him diving. He's a good player. If these people wanna see a diver, look at Cristiano Ronaldo. He can't go near the box and stay on his feet. Trouble is, the referees are too stupid to see it.

Andy Johnson i rate as highly as Christano Ronaldo.... In the DIVING stakes ! they both consistently cheat referees to gain unfair advantages.

I'm an Arsenal fan & I dont think that AJ is a diver at all.
He isnt in the same league as Drogba, Robben & C Ronaldo.
