I am not sure which island Yoshi is from. There are over 3000 islands so you need to be a bit more specific.

Although there are hundreds of islands in Greece, Nintendo has not yet established their own, so stick to the game or forget all about Greece!
There are so many islands... why don't you rather visit Myconos or Santorini?
