When this movie was in theatres, I just happened to be in a rare mood to watch a scary flick, so my boyfriend took me to see it. We sat through about 30 to 45 minutes before the young, blonde girl getting raped by mutant monster things made us walk out. Now, I'm a big fan of all the Saw movies, and I can appreciate directors going for shock value in more modern movies, but I thought this was waaaay over the top and I was extremely disappointed to hear that the second Hills Have Eyes is more of the same, horrifying, disgusting thing except for 100 times worse. Who enjoys watching this filth? I don't understand. Rape is never entertaining to me considering how 80% of all women are either molested as children or raped as adults...I'm basically doomed, just like every other poor female. And then to throw these revolting mutants into the mix as the predators, ugh! Am I being too sensitive or does anyone else think it's unnecessarily raunchy?

They keep on pushing the limits and I think the director is a complete moron. He wants people to watch it BECAUSE it's over the top, not to be too grossed out to watch it. The director just isn't confident enough with his own playwright, so he decides to go way over the top and make an absolutely disgusting film with no storyline. Just for the money.

Yeah I agree wif you . While I appreciate the director effort to make the movie different from the other cliche of an horror movie, I find it waaaay over the top !

It's utterly disgusting !
I watched it halfway & I don't intend to watch the remaining half .

>_< I completely argee with you. This movie was absolutely the worse movie of all time. The plot was horrible. I suppose the director was so desperate to get himself the "the scariest movie" award that he didn't even care to write out a proper script and just threw together every sick thing he could think of. It was unnecessary gruesome. That raping scene was just horrible. I was upset to hear they had actually made a sequel! I enjoy horror movies and I've seen a lot of them but none as disturbing as this one.

I didn't like it. And I wont watch the next one that is coming out this summer. It was horribly disgusting. It was kind of entertaining but the people on there where yuck. But I hate to say it but people do look like that. Its sad. But the first one was a waste of my time. I would rather spend time to watch a different scary movie. It want gross and scary that isn't all that bad watch a SAW Movie. they are unbelievable.

80 percent of women definitely do not end up getting raped at some time in their life but either way the hills have eyes sucked not because of the rape in it but just because it was lame and the next one will be too so i wont go see it

I thought it was great, I didn't expect much from it and it really surprised me. I thought the rape scene was pretty funny, I know that doesn't sound right but come on... they were freaking mutants. All the people that were murdered in the movie and the rape is the problem? i think murder is worse than rape. Any movie that is based on nuclear infected mutants shouldn't really be taken that seriously, it was just supposed to give a 2 hour break from reality.

And 80% of women???? i don't have any numbers to back me up but that sounds ridiculous to me

TOTALY AGREE WITH YOU. THIS MOVIE *THE HILLS HAVE EYES* IS COMPLETLE DISGUSTING. AS FOR YOU, I ONLY LASTED 25 MINUTES AND I WENT OUT AND VOMIT. I COULDNT HANDLE SUCH MOVIE.

AS FOR SAW, EVEN THOUGH I WAS A BIT JUMPY OF WHAT I WAS GOING TO SEE, TO MY SURPRISING IT DID HAD A MESSAGE. AND A HUGE ONE. SO YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN WITH THIS.
