It's between Zeppelin and the Stones. I'll have to say the Stones though. They are all that is rock n' roll, even in their "old age". I don't know if you could find better performers, and their songs are just as great.
Led Zeppelin is awesome though (obviously I think so, considering I am Led Zep Babe). They are metal with a little bit of blues, which is perfect!
AC/DC are always fun, but I don't really listen to many of their "serious" songs.....do they have any? My favorite, of course, is Highway To Hell
Aerosmith isn't that great musically, in my opinion anyway. But Steven Tyler is a great performer.
Black Sabbath has always been to hard core for me, but they I still like to listen to them sometimes.
Guns N' Roses use to be one of my favorites when I was in middle school. They still are good to me. They even do a good cover of Dylan's Knockin' On Heaven's Door. However, the cover of Sympathy For The Devil they did was terrible!
Metallica.....never really did like them much. A few songs are decent, but nothing special to me.
Sorry, I had to give a short opinion about all of them. If I really got into it, I think I would have been typing all night....
And a thumbs up to everybody. It's ridiculous when people go down the line putting a thumbs down.....

Pick only ONE of those? That's not fair... I'd probably say AC/DC too, even though they're all great.
Led Zeppelin is close behind, but AC/DC's been a personal favorite of mine for a long time.

OK you are gonna laugh at this but my mom's (47 years old)favorite is AC/DC, and mine is AC/DC (26 years old), and my 2 little brothers are also big time rock fans of these they are probably biggest fans of AC/DC (they are 18 and 19.)
