Did the movie "300" by Frank Miller affected that opinion of yours in any way?

Depends which Greeks we're talking about.
I admire the Athenians for giving us civilisation: art, culture, sciencee, philsophy, law and democracy.
Sparta was a brutal military dictatorship where training for war began from birth. They had the best soldiers.
I haven't seen 300 so can't say yet but Thermopylae was an important battle. The Spartans sacrificed themselves to let the other Greeks escape and defeat the Persians in a final battle that sank the Persian fleet and forced their army to retreat.

No. Just that the Spartans were bad@$$es.

Compare "300" to "The 300 Spartans" and you will see why I like "300" better.

If you want to learn more, watch the History channel. They have a really excellent documentary on that story.

Don't know that movie. I am Lebanese and I find the Greeks very close to us..I like them very much

no. Greek are intelligent ppl. thats why they are known for their philosophies, many which we are still practising today.
