I am very saddened by this see ? below?

Question

I feel this probelm is not addressed and people tend to just say casually Oh kids are cruel yet nothing is done about it My question is why do kids and youth verbally abuse, pick on, make fun of and bully other children in school? This saddens me because I know of people including myself who would have had a lot less mentally and emotional issues if we were treated kindly and with respect. Why are people so mean and cruel? I am very saddened by this.

Sorry but it is the way of the world. I saw where kids in S. Korea were going to school with bodyguards. Kids are cruel and seem to be more so these days. Kids don't reason. To most kids it does elevate them to tear someone else down. Some grit and fire in the belly can stop bullying. Bullies are cowards.....this is true of adults and kids. A sock full of pennies in the nose will fix a one really well. Life is just a bigger version of Lord of the Flies.

I agree with you on this issue. I think alot of times kids act at school the way they are allowed to act at home. Most of the time there is no parental supervision, maybe the parents are drug abusers or alcoholics and just don't care what their children do. Some parents have to work and have to be gone when the kids are at home, thus leaving them to tend to themselves. There doesn't seem to be any family structure,no values, no morals,no nothing instilled in kids of today anymore. It is indeed sad. You really have a lot of insight yourself to notice what is going on and I hope things get easier for you.

It's not just kids...Its the entire world...Not everyone is going to revolve around your (this is not directed at you, I'm saying "your" to demonstrate everyone in the world") needs...No one cares about being kind to you (again, not directed at you) because they have their own things to worry about.

It sucks, but we'll all have to deal with it.
