Did a group of Saudi Arabians fly out when the US was locked down with no air traffic following 9/11?

Did this happen? Or is it just urban myth? What evidence exists that some Saudi Arabians had the special privilege of flying home when all other air traffic was suspended?

If it did happen, who were they? Why were they in the US? Why did they leave? Who authorized making this remarkable exception to favor them?

Yes, there were Saudi Arabians who were allowed to fly after the FAA grounded all commercial airline flights.

Including were members of the Bin Laden family as confirmed by Richard Clarker (former Counterterrorism Chief).

Prominent Saudis were in Washington, DC at an investors' meeting of the Carlyle Group, a consulting firm former President George H.W. Bush joined (along with many of his cabinet members) after leaving the Oval Office.
Reportedly, these people were flown out of the country on government jets when all other air traffic was grounded on 9-11-01. One family, who had invested $2.5 million in the Carlyle Group, was named binLaden.
Shortly after the 9-11 explosions, the Carlyle Group became one of this country's largest government contractors, as did Halliburton, a company formerly run by Vice-President Dick Cheney.
These two firms have made billions from the Iraq 'war', often without even having to submit competitive bids for their goods or services to the U.S. government. Halliburton is still challenging charges that it overcharged the federal government by more than two billion dollars on just one project.
Consider all these 'coincidences', and ask yourself if it's even plausible that this isn't all somehow tied together:
1) At the time of the 9-11 attacks on the Twin Towers, Marvin Bush (George Bush's brother) was in charge of security at those buildings;
2) Just prior to the explosions, parts of the Twin Towers were closed for several days (many suspect demolitions crews were planting strategically-placed explosive designed to detonate so that the buildings would "implode" on themselves);
3) Larry Silverstein, a good friend of the Bush family, was in dire financial staits because of the low occupancy rates in the Twin Towers. He reportedly took out an insurance policy just weeks before the 9-11 event, which specifically covered his real estate in the event of a 'terrorist attack'. His original $16 million investment turned into $7 billion (after he won his claim in court);
4) Emotions ran high, allowing the Bush administration to persuade Congress (and the American people) to be given unprecedented powers without any authorization from the Judicial or Legislative branches of our government;
5) Bush illegally and unconstitutionally invaded another sovereign nation (Iraq), which in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the United States;
6) The Bush family had a personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein ever since the days of Desert Storm, when George H.W. Bush was criticized, ridiculed and humiliated for not "finishing the job" and ousting Hussein at that time;
7) Dick Cheney and his oil buddies coveted all that OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sands so that they could get richer and richer and richer feeding America's addiction to cheap, easily-accessible OIL;
8) The Cleveland Hopkins Airport was mysteriously closed on 9-11-01, at the same time that an airliner (the infamous Flight 93) reportedly crashed in a Pennsylvania field, a relatively short distance from Ohio;
9) Scrap from the demolished Twin Towers was quickly dismantled and used to build a new American battleship, instead of being held in storage for any future inspections or investigations;
10) Ever since World War II, industrialists recognized just how profitable 'war' could be. So the giant U.S. military-industrial complex bought up all the politicians, hired pricey lobbyists, and formed special interest groups to promote and encourage more war. Thus, the U.S. was involved in the Korean Conflict; the Cuban Missile Crisis; the Cold War; Vietnam and Desert Storm. Boosting profits of these mega corporations were more important than the lives of 675,000 Iraqi citizens, 3,000 occupants in the Twin Towers, and 3,218 U.S. soldiers;
11) Bush lied to the American people about "weapons fo mass destruction" (and to Congress);
12) The United States claims it will bring democracy to Iraq, then leave. If that's the case, WHY are we building the largest U.S. embassy in the world on a 104-acre site in downtown Baghdad, overlooking the modest headquarters of the "puppet" Iraqi government installed by the Bush administration? We will occupy Iraq until we've sucked every drop of OIL from that land. Period.

Now, think about this: of the top five mass murderers of the past 75 years, only one has been brought to justice:
a) Joseph Stalin slaughtered 10 million of his countrymen and died peacefully in his sleep;
b) Adolph Hitler gassed 6 million Jews (and others he considered 'undesirable') and committed suicide before he could be tried in an international court of law for his high crimes against humanity;
c) Idi Amin killed 2 million people in Uganda, then retired in exile, living comfortably for the rest of his days;
d) Saddam Hussein massacred more than a million Iraqis and was hanged, thanks to a so-called "trial" implemented by the Bush administration;
e) George W. Bush has been responsible for the deaths of almost three-quarters-of-a-million human beings and has yet to be held accountable for his murderous actions by any international tribunal.
Believe what you want, but the more the evidence stacks up, the more it appears that the Bush administration has a lot to answer for - to the entire world. they flew out after the flying ban was lifted. it makes great rumors and if they tell it enough and long enough, i guess it becomes fact to some. but in fact, planes were flying at that time
