Only the rich would have the money to pay for a sterile illegal abortion. Poor women would resort to what was called the "back street abortion" years ago. Those usually result in complications, such as severe infection, sterilization and even death.

Probably just like the result of illegal drugs. People will still find a way to do it whether it is legal or not. And most of the time it won't be safe. If a women wants to abort a child, she will abort it. Minus well keep legal.

In what country?

In the US, it would allow the government to pass any laws it wants regarding such medical procedures. So, a state could outlaw abortion or it could make abortion mandatory, like in China.

Once it's no longer a constitutional protected choice by the individual, there are no limits to what laws could be enacted.

It would make it even harder to educate women about procreation. I don't want women having abortions but if they are made illegal women will have them anyway without even knowing the facts or the options. If you don't feel in your heart that you are killing a child it wont ever seem wrong, just illegal.
Many young women would die from backroom illegal abortions.

Putting 15 year old girls in Jail (or aJuvenile home), illegal and unsafe abortions done in unsanitary conditions by untrained people. Thats the problem. Even if you make it illegal, it does not make sense to arrest the offenders.

Increased illigal abortions performed, which increases the chances of health risks for the women. These "ally abortions" are at a higher risk of being preformed by untrained professionals, and will increase the amount of complications and even death of the women. Also suiced rates will, post partem depression and un safe methods of aborting the baby will increase.

Women are entitled to every right including abortion. BUTT OUT OF THEIR BUSINESS!!!! Would you want to be raped and be forced to have a criminals child? I know I wouldn't...sounds mean, but i would get rid of it in a heartbeat. BUT, if you're getting an abortion because nothing happened, you just weren't using protection and just don't want it, then THAT is wrong!!!!

in that book Freakonomics the authors draw a connection between legalization of abortion and a lower crime rate, ie with fewer unwanted kids turning into criminals, we're safer. so by that thinking, if abortion becomes illegal we can expect to be overrun by crime in about 15 years.

back alley abortions. Yes there will be fewer abortions,, but more deaths from the abortions that are sought. Not a good solution.

If Row v Wade were overturned a lot of women would die from unsafe procedures, and a lot more unwanted children would be roaming aimlessly. Changing laws will never stop abortions. After all, abortions were around a long time before they were legalized.
