I can write poetry in a minute flat, and it's truly amazing. I love writing. I'm in a junior grade level Language Arts class, though i'm only an eighth grader.
But the problem is...i suck so bad at other subjects. I have to try extremely hard to succeed in those classes, where in Language Arts i rarely need to study to pull an A.
So my question is...Is there any way i can put my L.A. skills into learning more in the other subjects. Or any way, really? Please, i just don't get the other subjects. They seem stupid to me. History i'm pretty good at, but that's only because i imagine myself in that time period, and learn that way. But i think i'm slightly Mathematically and Scientifically retarded.
HOW DO I GAIN IN WHAT I SUCK AT???

You might consider a tutor for those subjects. Unfortunately, that's kind of the way it is sometimes. You might be really good in some subjects and not too great in others. Usually, it seems if you like a subject more, you spend more time at it and understand it better. You might have to use some visualization in some of your math to imagine the numbers as objects, etc. Just keep on keepin' on, and listen well in class and maybe think about the tutor.

As a very general rule, women are more adept in language and men are more skilled in math and science, but that doesn't mean we can't learn it! Use your skill in language to do some extra studying of the material. Do extra reading on the subjects you have a hard time with from the library. You can also maybe ask a guy or girl who has a hard time in language arts to help you in exchange for your help in that subject. When I was in school back in the Dark Ages, we had an extra period at the end of the day where we could go and get extra help from the teachers if we were having a hard time in a subject. If all else fails, get a tutor to help you with it.

thats not weird, thats awesome!
idiot savants are amazing!
lol the best way to succeed in the other classes is to figure out why you are so successful in English. You said you can do well in history if you imagine you are in it. Why not try the same for science or math? Imagine you are a scientist, or that you are in an extreme situation in which a troll will take your money and devour you if you do not solve the math problem. lol just suggestions. also, you can always get a tutor, or just study harder. If you put your mind to it, it's very doable. Just believe in yourself and understand that even if you dont do that great in math and science, your ability in language arts will bring you mountains higher.

The first thing you need to do to learn math and science is "CALM DOWN". Look, all physics, chemistry, biology, etc. courses are not designed expecting you to learn everything at once. They feed it to you, albeit quickly, in bites that you can learn the subject. You're no worse than the average person. You just need to realize that these subjects are immensely facsinating and will broaden your mind! Start with the 101 courses and you'll be fine. You will have to apply yourself and study HARD..there is no getting around this fact, however.

I'm in ninth grade and i dont think we gian in what we suck at. i think the most we get is common skills that we most likely will forget anyways. so i wouldn't get bummed out. there`s not to much to be worried about. u could just get a tutor or something if u need good grades. i have one for math cuz i need to pass. but all that's really going through my mind is college and life after that.

People have strengths in different places.
I make myself cram the information that i don't find generally interesting to recieve good grades in that subject.
So, it's simple: If you aren't good at it study it extra hard!
