Just keep loving your husband where he is at .... Be faithful and loving no matter what and compliment him alot and always tell and show him how much you love him and that you are honored to be his wife. Make him feel good about himself at all times and tell him how handsome he is. Compliment him alot. He may need counseling and help for his self esteem issues as well. Good luck to the both of you and here comes lots of hugs your way. When you are out in public with him hold his hand and love on him publicly as well put your arm around him and show that you are proud out in public of being his wife. This will help him feel good about himself and will ultimately help his self esteem and build him up over time. He will reflect how you treat and compliment him.

At least a guy like this is not likely to cheat on you. What he may not understand is that few men can offer the type of connection that a woman truly needs. It's a short matter of time before looks, or social status no longer matter and you don't see the person as that hot girl or hot guy, but for who they really are as a person. Once a relationship gets past the infatuation and pretense, it often falls apart, since it was founded on vanity.

But connecting on a level of truly loving and caring for one another is a rare thing. A love that is giving and doesn't want to get something out of the relationship, but asks what can it give to other person. That is something few men can offer and if he can offer it to you, he has something unique and more valuable then the superficiality that he mistakenly thinks he needs to have to be in your league.

There isn't much you can do about someone Else's self esteem. Self esteem comes from the inside of the person. I know this guy.. handsome, great smile , tall and a great body. He is very shy and has a very low self esteem. No matter what people say to him, they cant convince him otherwise. Until your husband finds his self esteem, just be there for him and let him know that you love him. Maybe counseling would help but I don't know.
