I'm interested in some people's opinions, they don't even have to be a great player either. ANYONE who plays in the NBA that skipped college play. For me it would be 1. KG 2. Kobe 3. T-Mac 4. Dwight Howard 5. Rashard Lewis :)

Ok here goes:

1. Kobe - sorry KG, Kobe has the rings (even with Shaq) and he still has a chance to get one because he's still young and this Laker team is intimidating sometimes. And literally, I think he could almost win a game by himself and two other teammates, Lamar and Walton.

2. Moses Malone - gotta give him credit for his rings and his trophies. And he proved everybody wrong that age does not really matter if you've got the skills and the proper mind in the NBA.

3. KG - I dont think there's anything this guy cant do. He can be an inside scorer, he's a good defender and shot blocker, and a good shooter as well. If only he had a good team who play well as him.. I want him to go to another team to win a championship

4. Tracy McGrady - As a Spurs fan, Im scared if we meet the Rockets in the playoffs. T-mac isn't as immature as he was in the early days, he actually takes quality shots now, defends, and puts up good assist totals.

5. Darryl Dawkins - c'mon who doesn't like CHOCOLATE THUNDA!!! That's one of the best nicknames in basketball. If there was an award for most exciting high-school to NBA player, that would be him.

1. KG because he's the one that started the trend.
2. Kobe Bryant.
3. Lebron James.
4. T-Mac without his complaining.
5. Since I'm a Lakers fan, I am really hoping it would be Bynum but let's face it, I really feel that the Lakers should have pushed to trade for Jason Kidd who I believe would have made an immediate impact...(kinda drifted away.. sorrie).

1. Moses Malone (obviously) Hall of Famer who was THE dominant power forward/center of his time. 2 time MVP, 1 ring, 4th all time leading rebounder, (leader of offensive rebounds), 5th all time leading scorer.
2. Kevin Garnett
3. Darryl Dawkins
4. Jermaine O'Neal
5. Kobe Bryant

Shawn Kemp was NOT drafted out of high school. He signed a letter of intent to go to Kentucky, but was kicked off the team (for pawning jewelry stolen from a teammate) before any games were played. He enrolled at Trinity JuCo but it was too late for him to be eligible to play any games. He then declared himself eligible and was drafted after what would have been his freshman year in college.

Spencer Haywood DID go to college. He went to Trinidad State JuCo his freshman year and the University of Detroit his sophomore year (led the NCAA in rebounding that year). He could not enter the NBA draft then because the rules at the time required a player to wait until his class graduated. So, he joined the ABA (and was named the ABA Rookie of the Year and MVP).
