I made a video that I need to get onto DVD. I have a Windows Media Center PC, but whenever I try to burn a DVD with it, it says the files aren't compatible. Could you either tell me a format it is compatable with, as well as the kind of DVD (+ or - R) or if there is a free/cheap DVD burning program. My computer has a DVD burner. I just want to make DVDs and be able to play them in a DVD player

Okay, I'm pretty sure a copy of the Sonic burning thing came with my PC for free, but I stopped installation because I didn't know what it was. So, is there a way to find it and reinstall it? I am a semi-geek, and I know it would probably be in D drive (Recovery Drive), so could someone help me find it?

Media Center uses a file format called DVR-MS. Sonicencoders.msi can be used to make DVD's. The program can be found on the internet to download if you don't have the program already. This isn't the best program, if there is any kind of skip in the show you want to burn, it might fail. A better but not free program that will burn successfully thru an imperfect show you recorded is an MCE Plug-in Cyberlink MakeDVD 2.

i replaced into having a similar topics. The "action picture channels" flag their video clips in the journey that they are copyright secure, as a outcome no longer allowing you to burn them to dvd. in spite of the undeniable fact that once you've your human being dvd series and need to back them up, you may burn them for your computer by ability of creating use of DVD43 to get around the copyright topics. you'll favor AC3 filter out to achieve sound once you get them on your computer. both courses are loose downloads. basically google them. desire this helps.
