codes po113, po102, po301, po316, po302,

ok this is what i found out..... codes 301 and 302 are misfires but i have replaced the plugs and wires and then today i took it back and there was a connector off where the air filter goes..which caused 113 and 102 codes. the codes have been cleared but the engine light came back on and it shows misfire still yet..what is causing the misfire and what is code 316

p316-misfire occured in the first 1000 engine revolutions

possible causes

damaged ckp sensor
ignition system
fuel injectors
running out of fuel
fuel quality
damaged pcm

Vehicle Description: 2002 Ford Taurus 3.0L, GAS, Vin U



Mileage: 50106



Customer Concern: Has codes P0303, P0306 and P0316.



Tests/Procedures: Informed of TSB 02-22-3 concerning trouble code P0316. Suggest to have a dealer reflash the Powertrain Control Module first, then recheck for any further driveability or misfire concerns.



Potential Causes: PCM strategy.

Code PO316 is an engine misfire at startup. You are still having misfire issues. I hop you didnt use Bosh or NGK plugs. They are junk and will cause misfires..... Use Champion or AC delco or Autolite platinum plugs. If you have a distributer then change the dist cap. If you use a coil pack it could be the coils. Try good plugs first.

go back to ford and get the right plugs for the car this car came with platinum plugs and some part store gives you the cheapest plug
