HI- Voorhees , Mount Laurel & Cherry Hill are nice but a little pricey. Mount Laurel has lots of condos. A little south of cherry hill is Collingswood, (10 minutes) cute area with coffee shops on main street- probably a little more affordable, and trendy., just stay a few blocks off of route 130 ( near Camden- bad city). also, collingswood & westmont - which is next to collingswood and a good place too, are both on the train line to philly. your in the city in 10 minutes by train from there. :)

New jersey gets a bad rap and well quite honestly for good reason. If i were you...and i used to live in cherry hill in my early twenties with my dad (he's since moved to philly). Live in Philly (around south st.) and commute. It's a 20 min drive and TRUST ME socially NJ is BAD> unless you like chain restaurants and bad bars, wearing sports jersey's, and dating cheesy girls. ****( Must go to the JUGHANDLE.....Best buffalo wings-garlic hot!!!!) Cherry hill and surrounding areas have nice places to buy a home and raise a family...But if you're a single guy.....

You want to basically stay east of rt 130. There are a few towns that are $$$$ becasue of the school system like Moorestown and Haddonfield. They are beautiful towns (Moorestown made the cover of a magazine - Money I think) but unless you can afford it you want to avoid those places. Cherry Hill itself is nice, especially the areas towards Haddonfield and Marlton. Like the other person said, Mt Laurel, Voorhees and Collingswood are all nice along with Haddon Heights and Cinnaminson.
