Its an LG
Cd-R-W 52X32X52
I have Win 2000
and the computer does not detect it.
Please help

If the computer doesn't see it I doubt that a driver will help. You need to make sure the jumper it set correctly to make it a slave drive if it is on the same cable as another drive.

Most CD or DVD drives do not come with drivers anymore as Windows XP and Vista automatically detect and configure these drives now.

go to lg, first pull the drive out and get the model# from it, then just type lg drivers, it should take u there. good luck!!

if you connect it .then check the light it show. to download you cd-r-w's setup file to install you cd-r-w's driver. i thing if you cd-r-w is drivered .then every thing will became good.

probably its just a cable error, check them,, maybe its just loose or something, or maybe your cable or not working properly at all.
