I don't think we really know when the world will end. It will just happen. 2012 seems WAY too soon though. It's just like when people said the world would end on 6-6-06. Did the world end that day....no.

I think that day is probably the final day of this life but the beginning of a new existence and even if its not that day something is happening on that day or...at some other time the new beginning will engulf us
