He may have mentioned possibly going to Ohio State as a passing remark. But I honestly don't think he had any real intentions other than jumping straight into the NBA.

Remember those free Humvees he and his mom were given, and it became such a big deal? He would have lost his college eligibility for that anyway.

As I recall, LeBron pretty much had his sights set on the NBA all along, but I do recall him saying several times recently that he would have gone to Ohio State if he would have gone to college. I doubt that the coach at that time, Jim O'Brien would have even considered recuiting him if LeBron was looking to get in the NBA.

And as far as LeBron and Oden on the same team, how about LeBron, Oden and Mike Conley on the floor at the same time.

He claims now that he was going to go to Ohio St. He had NO INTENTION of going to college. He and Oden wouldn't be on the same team because he would have been gone. He just claims that he would have gone to OSU because he is from Ohio and the only people who ask him are papers in Ohio (and Jon Stewart when he was doing the Daily Show in Ohio for a week).

Yes, I remember hearing in an interview (i think on a late night show of some kind) that he said that he wouldve gone to Ohio State had he not went staight to the NBA.
He and Oden wouldve been great together.

Thats what he has said.

James has said he would have played for Ohio State if he didn't enter the NBA directly out of Akron's St. Vincent-St. Mary High School four years ago.

Lebron couldent go to any university because he was ineligible. he played for all three
; McDonald's All-American Game, the EA Sports Roundball Classic, and the Jordan Capital Classic.
;According to NCAA rules he participated in more than 2 high school all star events and that is a violation,

Ohio St was one of the colleges he was considering but even if he would of went he wouldn't still be there now, he would of left after his freshman or sophmore year

All Lebron's high school buddies went to Akron who barely missed the tourney. He may have decided to go there. With him they would have definitley been a contender. It wouldm't rellay matter what college Lebron went to. He would be seen anyways.
