Read...and keep up with current events....Try to watch docu-mentaries.....and do research on things that are of interest to you....I grew up loving the Beatles and so I learned and watch-ed as much as I could on England ever since I was in jr. high and I have alot of other interests as well...I have always loved spending time at the library and that was years before I ever had access to a computer and the internet, which is excellent
for doing research on ANYTHING that interests you......What are you interested in....Something that has redeeming value?!

THINK !
Think deeply about every thing you see, every object, every situation, think ! think ! think ! If you do this, you will be using your brain every moment, making more and more neural connections and interconnections, more than just memorizing some lame tidbit of trivia. You'll keep your brain active and growing, and responsive, and you'll realize things that other people will miss.
THINK !
Its actually a slogan IBM used for employees, that helped make that company emerge as a computer powerhouse through the decades.

PS- You know, some very smart people sometimes "feel dumb"; I remember a girl classmate in highschool who felt dumb, but she got straight A+ in every course, and was # 1 smartest student in the school, and she was natural blonde.
Its a true story.

PS2- I said Think !, not Drink !
Do more thinking, and less drinking ! LOL

You can fight off stupidity by reading, listening, watching, talking and research. Oh and one more thing you are not dumb, you just don’t understand some things. When you read or question things around you're not dumb. You’re clever because you want to learn and that is a good start.

I'm sorry but Ron White says "You can fix ugly BUT Ya CAN'T fix Stupid!"

I'm sure you aren't stupid. To form a question like that shows some intelligence after all, stupid people don't use big words!
