Im 17 and Im talking to this girl who is 14. And like I feel like a prev tryin to get wit her. Like I dont want to do anything sexual with her cause I know I going to feel bad. But she's real cool and doesnt act like your average 14 year old. She's real mature and has a very good head on her sholders. But I just feel bad, cause I dont want to hurt cause she's 14( and all my friends call me the "heartbreaker" or "lazy nympho"). So Im really watching what Im doing in her presense. But I know I have to talk to her about it. Cause relationships should be full of communication......ya know?!?!? So do you think me going out with a 14 year old will make me look like a prev?

well its a 3 yr difference which isn't that big -- I'm dating a 20 yr old and I'm 23 -- no matter what there will be maturity differences with that range anywhere under the age of 25 -- so it isn't just a number but its how the two of you handle your relationship it maybe that she isn't ready for a sexual relationship but you are, so maybe out of respect wait. You should talk to her to see if she's ready for that.

However my personal opinion is that at those ages it is a big difference 14 is like you practically just became a teen right and 17 is your almost done with highschool and your about to become an adult. She still has a few years of life experience to go through before she can feel those strong emotions that you may be feeling.

When do you turn 18? Even if you do not have sex with her, society will not look kindly on a soon 18 year old being with a juvenile which is what a 14 year old girl is. I would find out what her parents think. They may let you see her on a supervised basis but I would be careful about the adult-juvenile issue.
