Why do some players lied about their height? They claimed it's wrong-listed.

It's like Jason Kidd claiming he's 6'4 that actually he's 6'5 or Carlos Boozer claiming he's 6'9 that he's really 6'8?

Jason Kidd is actually 6'3. And its a well-known fact that the NBA adds about an inch to the height they list for players. C'mon, they list Iverson at 6'0 hes 5'11 on a good day......You do know that players get measured during their physicals right? Its not like the DMV where you can list your own height and weight....

sure that is real that the NBA makes gamers look taller than they are literally. that is not purely the NBA whether that is severe college all the way up. The exaggerate heights of faculty gamers and as quickly as I performed in severe college i replaced into presented at 6'4'' while i'm extra like 6'2'' and a million/2.

That stuff starts in college. Maybe a little in high school too. But for whatever reason, TEAMS and PROGRAMS list players 1-2 inches taller that they actually are. My guess its to skew scouting reports that are always accompanied by tape.
SO... whan players and coaches are watching tape, they have the only physical info on the players they watch via a program guide.
I only played D3 and everyone still got an extra 2 inches.

But trust me... its NOT the players. They are some of the best athletes in the world. Do you really think that they care if people think theyre 6-4 v 6-2? I, for one, don't.

It's not the players that lie, it's the staff who measure them. Come on, you expect people to measure the exact height of every player in the NBA. Plus, some players might be growing taller during the season.

Well players list themselves higher as an attempt to phsyc out the other team and to screw up scouting reports. I when i was in highschool i was a short forward but i was listed a 6 ft when i was really 5 9'. Soo its just to phsyc out other teams idk why Jason kid would list himself as shorter then he really is.

it's because that's the height they want to be but they are not that height so they lie about it. It's the same thing with peoples' weight
