America is ready,but Hillary comes off too caught up in her own future and not that of the people.I do wish Oprah would run,she stays focused,determined and comes from a tough background which keeps her in touch with the common man.

I dont think we are ready for a female president...I feel that her every move will be judged based on her being a female, not her experience. I feel we should take baby steps. We just got our first female speaker of the house, I feel the next step should be VP, show America that a woman can handle it, prove herself, and then run for Prez. Unfortunately, women have to prove themselves twice as much as men, so I just dont think a female running for prez in 08 will win...

Maybe not yet but definitely in a decade or two. Right now I'd say Condelezza Rice, or Senator Kay Bailey Hutchenson from Texas would make good female presidents.

I believe America isn't ready yet. They would probably vote for a monkey before they vote for a woman. I wouldn't vote for a woman because I think they are too attached to their emotions and the government would be run by that and not rational thoughts

ok i'm from uk but i reckon america should have a female president, maybe they wouldn't rush into wars so easily and risk all the countries young people's lives!! i think pink would make an awesome president!! not afraid to state her opinion and wouldn't take any crap!!

i dont think that any woman right now is good for it though... hilary clinton is overrated and all these people are saying wat a good woman she is but wat does she do?!?!?!?
and personally i think shes a dumb whore to stay with bill cheetahs dont change their spots and neither do cheaters!! (they just dont get caught)
oprah? she has too much going on already, how is she gonna run the US with all her crap like her shows, magazine, initiating world peace, stopping world hunger, finding the cure for cancer u know just regular stuff
