1. You are jeopardizing your muscle development by under eating, you should be consuming not less than 2000 calories a day, divided between 5 meals.
2. The safest ratio is 1 part fat, 2 parts carbs and 3 parts protein.
3. When you start eating a balanced meal, you can also start doing some specifica abdominal exercises, working the 4 abdominal groups.
Abs like any muscle in your body responds to being worked out and for that reason you will need to concentrate on some very specific and at times very difficult excercise to get the abs stretching and flexing. Just like your bicep or pecs respond to weight training, so will your abs.
The ab muscle is made up of one muscle not many muscles as people think. The abdominal muscle starts at the bottom of the pectoral muscle at the bottom of the rib cage over the sternum and goes al the way down to your pelvis. The sides of stomach muscle are the obliques (also know as love handles because fat loves to accumultae here).
When we are building up our abs we seperate excercises into our upper abs, lower abs and obliques so we can conetrate on getting the burn on these specific areas.
The term six pack refers to the muscles at the top of our abs the three strips down seperated in the middle, but the abs are actually made up of 5 sections down so someone who is incredibly fit and has next to no body fat can actuall acheive a 8, 10 or even 12 pack.
Most people however are more than comfortable with developing a tight ripped six pack and just a flat stomach below their belly button instead.
This program is a suggestion only and should be changed and or varied every couple of months so your muscles don't get used to the workout.
Crunches - 5 sets to failure
Lying Leg Lifts - 5 sets to failure
Side Crunches - 5 sets to failure
Reverse Crunches - 2 sets to failure
Pull up Crunches - 3 sets to failure
Hope it helps!

Sit ups and press ups. Lay on the floor on your back. bend your legs so your knees are up, put your feet under a heavy chair, (or whatever is handy) your hands behind your head and sit up. Don't do too many. Start with one or two then rest. As you get stronger you will be able to do more without doing youself any damage. Then your six pack will start to appear, in a week or two. Press ups - keep body straight unless difficult then do from knees only to start. Good luck!

I'm not really sure if running is going to get what you want. Yes running will help with over all body toning, but if you want to focus on your love handles and abs then you need to do sit ups and crunches and stomach exercises. Here's a site with some exercises to do that can help get the abs you want.

By eating 600 calories a day you'll probably die, that's half of what you need a day. Food doesn't appeal to you? Sounds like an eating disorder. Your weight is skinny, but you'll probably lose more weight if you don't eat more.

hunny you need to eat. you need to up your calories by about tripple what you are eating. when you eat under 1200 calories a day your body goes into starvation mode. that means anything you do eat will be stored as fat and the muscle you are trying to put on will be broken down for energy. the key is eating, i promise you. you see starving children in africa have superbig bellys? its kinda the same idea. so eat. lots of lean protein and just do crunches and youll be amazed how much that will help.
ps eating such a little amount will drastically reduce your metabolism making it harder for you to use calories correctly. so eat!

At 600 calories per day your body is consuming itself to maintain life. You are probably suffering from malnutrition. You will be unable to build muscle and will begin to deteriorate further

You need to balance energy intake to energy consumption. At the moment your balance is in the negative and that is not good.
To build muscles you need energy so get eating, stop running and do exercises that build muscles.
