what to charge depends on the type of animal(size),the needs of the animal and the area you live in.
I dogsit, I get between $8 - $20 aday
If I dogsit the weekend then I have a flat rate.
It is a very exciting job.

I have my own pet sitting service. I would suggest going on line and check out what others are charging in your area. You can do a wider search for names that are not in your area also. Good Luck.
