No one in nba history has every made 13 points in 35 seconds. McGrady is the first to do so.

I could get into a whole argument about how it was actually 37 seconds if you count the time it took for the ball to leave his hands, but I won't. 35 seconds, 37 seconds, it's all good because the Rockets won. That has to be the greatest comeback in recent history.
Prashant J - The Spurs didn't miss any free throws during that stretch. McGrady hit 4 consecutive 3s within a minute. That's hard to do, no matter who you are.

I can think of a couple of similar outbursts.
Game 5, 1984 first round, Pistons vs. Knicks. Isiah Thomas, quiet for most of the game exploded for 16 points in 93 seconds to force overtime. But with 44 points and 12 rebounds by Bernard King the Knicks did get the win in the overtime.
Game 1, 1995 conference semis, Pacers vs. Knicks. The Knicks had what seemed to be a safe 5 point lead late, but Reggie Miller scored 8 points in 8.9 seconds to get the victory for the Pacers.

How bout the fact that, the rockets fouled the spurs a gazzillion times to stop the clock and stupid spurs kept missing free throws and tmac just dialed up 3s. Lucky guy. Props to him for making the 3s in bruce bowens mug but im pretty sure if the cirusmstances were the same at the end of the game (down by double digits at the closing moments against a horrendous free throw shotting team missing all free throws), kobe and mj would've prolly scored more.
T mac didn't make the spurs miss the free throws, so thats why this feat is sooooooo frickin overrated

Isiah Thomas comes to mind, whats most impressive of his 18 points in under a 1:30 was his ankle was almost broke earlier in the game.
Rodney Rogers hit 4 trey's in 9 seconds for Denver in the playoffs around 93, 94.

I know Reggie Miller got 8 pts. in 6 seconds one time when he was still playing. He hit a three, got fouled & hit the free throw. Then he stole the inbound pass, hit another three, got fouled again & made that free throw as well.
