Seriously, they have been cheating, its really obvious, i meen it doesnt take a Hockey Fan to Realize it!!!Here Are the Moments this week that drive the coaches crazy!!!:

1) Brad Lukowich (nj) gets elbowed in the face in Pittsburgh and No Call!!!
2) Joe Corvo (ott) Gets Nailed from Behind from Roberts (pitt) and No calls, and not just that, the whole game was filled with cheapshots by Pittsburgh and no calls! One Caused a goal!!!
3) Sean Avery(NYR) gets Pushed while driving to the net and he gets the penalty for interference Against PITTSBURGH!!!!!

AND THE WORST ONE OF ALL!!!:

4) Jay Pandolfo (nj) is on a breakaway and gets Tripped ( could have been a penalty shot easily) and there is no call!!!! Then the Leafs Go the other way and score!!!!

When that last moment happened, my face turned red and i was going to burst out swearing in the theaters ( here in the cinema, you can watch hockeygames) in front of everyone. Ive never been like this when another team scores on NJ!!!

i hate the rangers but he didnt have a choise but to jump because if he didnt, he would have tripped over the goalie. and that wasnt just a small push, if u watch it in slow motion, ull see that he actually put some force into it!!!

Referees need to be held accountable for their actions. One-two-three bad penalties, whatever - that's fine, its "human" as everyone says. But when it begins to be the whole game -- something needs to be done.

-Quit making exceptions for players like Crosby, and Ovechkin.
-Call things evenly. If you decided to call everything in one game -- call EVERYTHING in that game, don't decide to suddenly put the whistle away (vise versa) ... that just confuses the players.
-For the love of god, does ANY official have the balls to call diving??? As long as players are getting away with it - whether they draw a penalty or not - they will continue to do it. And it is ruining the game.

What's wrong with the officials this week? The same thing that's been wrong with them for the last 120 years. They are human. There isn't a single person out there who could do a better job. It is a LOT easier picking out the penalties on television, especially with a chance to watch the replay a zillion times. People have been whining about referees since the beginning of sports. Yeah, they make mistakes, but guess what? So does everyone. It's a part of the game.

I saw that Avery one. You're right that it was a bad call. I was 100% certain the refs screwed up after watching the replay two or three times. Those refs should carry televisions with them at all times. And they should be robots. With lasers in their eyes and rocket skates!

I have no idea what Bob Loblaw's problem is, but clearly he hates Sean Avery and the NY Rangers. Be that as it may, refereeing in the NHL seems to be the worst of all the leagues. Sometimes they don't see a play, which I think was the case with Gary Roberts. Other times the refs have a pre-conceived notion of how a player plays and they either get penalties called against them or for them. If it was Michael Nylander who got shoved into Thibault during the game, he probably doesn't get called for a penalty. Refs already know that Avery is hard edged so they are going to be extra careful around the goalie. Avery also draws and inordinate amount of penalties because they know he agitates other players so they look for infractions. Players who whine generally get a lot of the calls to go there way. Think Marty Broduer, Sean Avery, Sydney Crosby, they whine their way to drawing attention to the other team. Its unfortunate that what is a seemingless obvious call doesn't get made or worse non-fouls get called, but its all about judgement. So refs have good judgement, others bad.

They can only call what they see and while I haven't seen all of the plays in question, I have seen a couple and I can honestly say that you have lost all credibility and are quite frankly NUTS.
I'll give you the worst one. Sean Avery is driving toward the net against Pittsburgh, he gets a LIGHT TAP, then proceeds to LEAVE HIS FEET and dive into Thibeault. If you did not think that was a penalty than you have no right to even comment on hockey. I don't care if you are the biggest Avery/NYR fan in the worls- THAT WAS A PENALTY and if I was the official, I would have gave him an extra 2 for diving. Get real.

Umm yeah I'm gonna agree with you there on the Pandolfo no-call, my TV almost went out the window. How can someone miss that blatant a trip??? The Lukowich thing too, if I remember correctly that was Sid The Kid with the elbow and god forbid they put him in the box.
