Thats an awesome snake! Congrats!

Kingsnake.com has some great links or just type in "red tail boas" into a search engine and loads of info will come up. Also, you can join some of the forums out there so you can get answers to specific questions. Ballpythonforum.com has different breeders (including boids), herpetoculturists and hobbyists that are more than willing to answer any questions.

I've been breeding boas and pythons for over 10 years and I still pick their brains for tips on health, husbandry, breeding, nutrition, etc.

You can email me, also, if you have any specific questions I can help you with. I'd be glad to help!

Your best bet is to donate it to a zoo. This type of snake is a constrictor, which means it could wrap itself around your neck and strangle you. It does not make a suitable pet, and should be in its natural habitat.
