It gives the listeners a different point of view and allows that person to try and relate to the music not all people listen to rap hip hop or country and sometimes its good to listen to different genres of music to diverse your mind and open it up to greater possibilities

Rock Music is very different from other artists that are on the radio these days. Rock songs have much more meaning then pop music. Not everything is about sex or drugs. Also i would definetly say that in order to make it as a famous band or rock artists you have to have talent, unlike most of the artists out their today that have their voices computerized. You have to be talented!

It's energetic and exciting. Especially live rock concerts in person. Loud guitars, deep bass, and solid drumming all contribute to this. Best examples from my generation - Queensryche and Tesla. Two very talented bands. They also feature dynamic vocalists and are great performers. The best bands typically have complex arrangements, solid backing vocals (melody), and intriguing lyrics that make you think.

Rock music has always questioned the times. Good rock music that is. It helped stimulate people to think by putting lyrics to things that people are sometimes afraid to say or question. Every generation hates the future generation's music, typically, and if they would only look to their music ~ even jazz and blues did these things. Poverty, oppression, faith ~ you name it, and its always had a song written about it.

Rock music has alot of empathy. nomally gives people this feeling that they are understood, or just gives off a rushing vibe.
