It isn't objectively wrong. Given that the other people in your scenario want to marry you, I don't see that it's harming anyone, so sure, why not?
This is what's always bothered me about the gay marriage debate: why do I have to ask the government's permission to get married? Marriage is a private and necessarily consensual act, and there's no way it's realistically going to cause harm to those not involved. You ought to be able to pay your fee, but call it a "registration" instead of a "license" - the government stops granting permission and simply registers an agreement made by the involved parties.
It seems like the only sane way of doing things, but instead people refuse to look past the framing of the question, "should gay marriage be legal?" "Should incestuous/polygamous marriage be legal?" Why should the government decide what's appropriate here? Leave it to the people involved. If you're not into polygamy, don't engage in it.
There are taxation issues here, but I think those can be resolved; it's a weak argument for prohibiting people who love each other from being together.

Yes, this is supposed to be a free country, and we do have rights to make our own decisions, so why are gay marriages not sanctified? Why is it illegal to have sex with family members? Why is drug use illegal? I could go on and on. Laws are made for a specific purposes, and sometimes they are based totally on a moralistic viewpoint. Laws and the Government were set up exclusively to take the power away from the Churches, and it is pretty hypocritical really, because the Laws based on moral issues are based entirely on what the Bible expects of the person. The Bible is the reason a lot of Laws are made, yet the Bill of Rights has a totally opposing view. People get into Government with morals and ethics, and if enough people share those same morals and ethics, then a Law gets passed. So really,it could open up a huge debate on what is morality.........is morality universal....or is it just opinion? You just have to look at customs from other countries to make that judgement for yourself. Yes, if the Bill of Rights was really taken seriously, then marrying two three, five women.....as long as it is the womans choice, then logically it should be legal....same as gay marriages, they should be legal as well....as long as it is between consenting adults. The Law is a get rich quick scheme and a game between lawyers...just look at what politians wages....its incredible. I certainly can understand people saying the Law is an ***.....it is...it is not consistent and certainly makes a mockery of the Bill of Rights.
In saying that however, you would end up in Civil War because people are conditioned to think a certain way and that conditioning get carried down from generation to generation, and if we were all to take the Bill of Rights as it is written, then life would be chaotic and people would do anything they wanted regardless of the other peoples opinions, so I guess Laws have to be made to maintain the peace, especially where subjective topics like polygamy and gay marriage is concerned.

lol, go ahead and do that. Actually, there is nothing preventing you from cohabitating with two or three women simotaneously (which could be, in essence, "common-law marriage"), but legally, of course you can't marry all three (at once). That's an interesting question, though... but is it really possible to love three women "unconditionally?" What happens when there is a conflict of interest between two of your "wives" and you have to keep the best interests of both in mind?
And, of course, the obvious question: Are these women all people you love for who they are, who you could live with for the rest of your life even if there was no sex and they lost their physical attractions? If not, then the interest is in threesomes, not unconditional love...
I'm glad you brought this up; makes for an interesting dicussion! Tell us what you think to support your side of the debate too!!!

yes as long as you can support 3 wives and three families not just for a month or a year it is a lifelong commitment and then could you sexually satisfy 3 women weekly most men can't give one woman an orgasm so be real after 6 months your wives would be getting sex on the side from someone like me and you would be supporting children fathered by someone else . i think it is a great idea go for it you will be a cuckold to 3 women

well it is a free country however the law says you can marry whom ever you'd like male or female...the sad news is it is not allowed to marry more then one person at the same time...why would you want to anyway? thats not being faithfull now is it...when you marry there are vows you must agree to...in those vows there is no place that says be happy and unfaithful...it states you promise to be faithfull...so there for you can not marry any amount of people at one time...good luck to you

With as much as men complain about women, as much as they refer to women being the ball and chain. Why On earth would you want more then one? The other wives will still tell you what to do, give you chores to do and tell you watch the kids every now and then.
And you want more of this....LOL that just cracks me up!!!

in some culture's (african & arabic come to mind) you're free to have as many wives as you want ! .
AS LONG AS YOU CAN AFFORD TO PROVIDE FOR THEM.
you could always move to one of those countries.
although why you would want to is beyond me.......i find that i have my hands quite full enough with 1 man let alone more !!

you are right you should be able to marry any amount of women you want, but in your case you dont need wives you need concubines, you need women to curb your sexual desires and satisfaction.
