I joined a club that allows members to run the school store. The teacher in charge is very unreasonable. She procrastinates, throws off the meetings, is vague with instrucions, and sometimes gives us wrong dates for meetings and we miss our bus. I can't tell her how I feel, she's a wierd teacher, which means I'd get in trouble. I can't afford another time not having a ride home. But I can't talk to the teacher. What do I do?

If your scenario is accurate, then you need to tell your parents and let them handle the situation for you.

You are right in that you are the student and the situation may not be appropriate for you to deal with alone.

With this said, it doesn't mean that your concerns should not be addressed.

Hang in there and let your parents address your concerns on your behalf.

Good Luck....

I know you said you can't talk to the teacher BUT before you go over her head to the principal you must sit down with her. First of all, you and the other concerned students bring your top 5 concerns to her. Present them. See how she reacts. Giver her a week or two to change and respond. If she doesn't then you go to the principal AND you tell the principal how you tried to talk to her. This way, you did the mature thing by being totally honest with the teacher. Keep copies of everything and make notes on her responses. Maybe she needs to just get motivated again about being the teacher in charge of the school store. Teachers do get burned out doing clubs too. So, present your issues and giver her a chance. If she doesn't respond go to her boss.

Maybe the teacher never wanted to run the store to start with and the principal could be making her. Does the club do anything else besides the store?
I would talk to another teacher that you trust and find out if you can meet with the principal. Maybe the teacher needs help. Could you offer to make a meeting calendar and instructions for her?
Teachers are sometimes just as overwhelmed as their students. good luck

This sounds like my drama teacher. You should talk to the administrator and tell them what is going on. He should be able to help. You could also find another teacher who is willing to do the job and tell the current one that if she would like some more free time then someone is willing to take over the school store.
