have a 3 best friends kimmy, tia, and anya. kimmy tia & i have been friend since we were young. Anya just moved from russia. When anya came i became really good friends with her. Sorta, ignored kimmy and tia. They were mad at me for not talking to them as much anymore saying i changed. Then i started hanging out with them, and anya is saying that she has no friends because i don't talk to her anymore, anya is kind of controlling but i still miss talking to her, what do you i do????? P.S.- Tia and Kimmy DONT get along at all with anya !!!!!!!

it seems that you like anya more than kimmy and tia. it's hard to keep two best friends, let alone three. don't worry, you'll be fine. want to know what's going to happen? you'll become closer to anya and drift away from the other two. whatever you do, don't start any fights. you might need to have some other gal pals. tell anya that you sometimes need your space, but she's still your best girl.
anya is not controlling. she's like me when i moved from russia. she just wants a friend she can count on. you're that friend.
if confrontation is unavoidable, say that you and kimmy and tia are drifting apart. they probably feel it too.

If she really wants a friend she can be friends with your friends. If she just wants someone to control she will just complicate things for you. How do you think it will be when you get a boyfriend. Stick with the friends you have got. You can still be friendly with her. If she is really your friend tell her how you feel maybe your problems with her are cultural differences or perhaps she is insecure about being new. Have a serious talk about the situation with your current friends and see if you can work something out for everyone. If your friends say you changed. How have you changed is Anya having a negative influence on you, if so maybe best to just let her go. Good luck.

i believe that being good friends doesn't have to be possessive with their friend's time. talk it out to tia and kimmy that you're just helping anya cope up with the different environment because she just moved in to your community from another country and i guess have different culture. also try to let anya understand that it is she who needs to adopt and bring out effort to get along with tia and kimmy since they were your friends first before she came along, and try to know why you friends dont like anya, what is it with her that they don't like and from there you could start to resolve their respective issues with each other.

Well, you tell her that friends don't have to be with each other. Why don't they get along with her? Try and figure this out, fix it.
