Does this mean that rational people don't fall in love??

Cuz a lot of materialistic people get marry for common interests not from love?

What do you think about this?

Love and rationality cancel each other out. People marrying because of material gain is called a merger.

you could be right.
I believe falling in love is the total maneuvering of our emotions(love) over our rationality(mind)
If there are any other reasons aside from catering to what the heart yearns for, then it's not love, it is rather ideals with motives.
Emotions of love don't reason out, that is why the old cliche holds: 'fools fall in love'

You are catching up, it been said for a long time that love will evolve from a solid marriage. Not in my case but that's what they say.
