she told me " i love you" and i didn't know what to say. so she got sad because i didn't tell her the same thing.
so, help me, what might i do?

Well if you don't love her the same way...why lie to her? Just {i mean...only if you dont like her} tell her that you just like her as a friend.But don't be shy to to tell her the truth.But if you dolike her the same way...tell her that.

It all depends. If you think that the two of you may have a future together then tell her that your not ready but someday you will be. If you don't think the relationship will work out, then it would probably be better if you ended it. If you really like her, tell her the truth. Don't drag things out, it will only make the problem worse.
